Warming Up Accounts correctly

No boiling! just pre-heating

Once you successfully logged in and verified your account, it is time to properly warm it up. Warming up an account is an essential, practically obligatory procedure to perform in order to increase your chances on the longevity of the account. This exact procedure may help to avoid some of the security screens like phone or email verifications. Nevertheless, we are sharing our practical experience, please note, that all of the settings shared here are merely suggestions to increase your safety and reduce the potential risks associated with adding brand new accounts.

Actions performed on your account should always take into consideration the following variables:

  • Total Activity + Age of the Account (first 90 days are fragile)

Let’s look at some recommended settings /actions for  brand new accounts:

The Schedule

DAY 1
Login and update your profile data. Edit your profile page with unique information. Name, Username, Gender, Biography and so on. Do not add any links or locations just yet. Add an avatar or Photo (smile!). Make sure to add 2-3 content pieces that match your niche (or just random pictures). You can do 5-10 likes, but no follows, comments or DM’s yet.
Let the account rest for approx. 24hr

5x  follows + 10x likes spread over 3 hours. Delays are important, do not rush things.

10x follows + 10x likes spread over 3 hours.

DAY 4

25x follows + 25 likes spread over 5 hours.

DAY 5

50x follows + 50 likes spread over 6 hours. Now you can add a link in the website field. Here some tips not to get your website link blocked:

  • They’ll block certain websites known to be linked to spamming.
  • They won’t allow links to websites with explicit content.
  • They’re blocking links that appear on a number of accounts within a short period.
  • Shortened links – such as bitly – are suspicious since it’s unclear what you’re linking to.
  • Funny, fake website names may be blocked (don’t use a fake URL).
  • Domain names using elements or misspellings of “lnstagram” have been blocked.
  • They do follow/crawl your link and will gather all sorts of information  on you.

75x follows + 60 likes spread over 7 hours.

100x follows + 120 likes spread over 8 hours.

125x follows + 150 likes spread over 10 hours.

DAY 9 and beyond

145-180 follows + 150-200 likes per 24hrs. Gradually ramp up and slowly raise the temperature.

Do not start boiling!

Be Safe

Make sure to diversify on daily time-frames. Running accounts only between 6-12 hours.
For example on Monday you run it between 12:00 and 22:00. Tuesday between 6:00 and 19:00. Wednesday between 13:00 and 23:00. In case your tool allows to randomize the running time, make sure to utilize this feature to the fullest. Randomization is key.
Once in a while Pause your automation tool. Not for long, just a day or two. It will not only reduce your chances of being flagged by the system but also clear out suspicious action patterns.
Your account has to build trust and remain credible over time to be safe from being flagged.
Upload media on your feed at least two times a week. We consider 3-4 times a week as an ultimate must. This will make your account look more genuine, and certainly boost up your trust-score while creating a proper graphical structure and engagement.

Accordingly, to your preference you may push actions further, but remember that this will most likely make it riskier. You may also use only liking, instead of following and liking, in most cases, this is a safer option for the accounts, though the follow-back-ratio also diminishes through this.

Stay Natural

Always try to simulate normal user behavior with genuine yet small engagement activities, by using all the communication and customizing features the site allows:

  • Fully customize your profile (connect it with other social media accounts if possible)
  • Frequently add media to your account
  • Respond to other user actions
  • Make random searches
  • Check personal messages and notifications
  • Add some comments here and there, etc.
